Chalom Benizri expresses his artistic vision in the following terms: "I was drawn by my love for the Hebrew letter to adopt the technique of calligraphy, to express and translate it, to explore its various forms. I paid particular attention to the formation of the letter, its dimensions, its shape, its spirit, and its meaning. Its spiritual essence, of celestial origin, encounters the world below and gives it the morphology we know. The sages, throughout the ages, teach us the scrupulous respect for its original form, for the spirit and the word that generates it.
